Cole my husband
When I met Cole I was probably more broken than anyone could ever dream. God saw fit to demonstrate His love for me through this man. He was younger and not yet ruined by the pain of heart ache. He was raised to love with his whole heart. I believe he saved my life. He loved me more than I probably ever deserved, and respected me so much I began to respect myself. It was his love, respect and heart partnered by this old soul full of wisdom that led me back to the Lord. Serving in ministry beside him has been a blessing, and being his wife of now eight years has been a dream come true. He is truly the love of my life, the other side of my coin, the one that makes me whole. God has blessed my life with this man's presence, and I will strive to be the best wife to him that I can. I wasn't always the ideal wife to him, but God has given me the grace to learn how. I got lucky with this one, I pray my girls all find someone like him to marry. He is the image of a Godly spouse, a protector, a provider, sacrificing for us and nurturing us all. The heart of this man blows my mind, and the wisdom in his spirit is beyond his years. What a blessing he has been to others! What a blessing he has been to my life and the life of my children! I could not ask for more! I am forever blessed. Here is to not only eight more but eighty eight more years of wedded bless! Thank you my love-you have given me the world, and all I asked for was a piece of pizza. (inside joke)
Samantha Renae 20-"The First to call me Mom"
Samantha was the first to sit beneath my heart, I, like her was a young mommy but I quickly learned just how very much I loved to mother. She is the very essence of first love! The moment I held her she changed me, she grew me up, she brought me to a place of completion and a place of maturity. We have been through a lot her and I , and she truly has become my best friend. I have always worked hard to keep the line between mom and friend clear and we have made a wonderful commitment to each other to hold up both sides of our personalities mom/friend-daughter/friend with each other. It seems to come so easily for us, the lines have never blurred. She has the voice of an angel, and an anointing that sets the captives free as she worships our God! She will stomp the gates of Hell if needed & I have seen her do it! She is falling in to motherhood so beautifully, and growing into a wonderful example of a Proverbs 31 wife and mother, as we learn together and from each other. She has been a joy, and a pleasure and it has been an honor to raise her. I have no words to describe the respect and admiration I have for her. She is such an incredible young woman of God, so faithful to those she loves to the core. Fiercely devoted, brutally honest, and not afraid to hold herself and others accountable to truth. She is gracious, humble, beautiful, and talented...a true treasure of the Most High and for me, one of the biggest and most gracious blessings given to me on this earth. She is the example of Godly love to many, and I just adore her, can you tell?
Nicholas Bryce 19-"The Brooder"
Nick is the first of my boys. He is a true musician at heart and excels at everything he tries! He has always been one of those guys that was great at everything, I never thought I would birth one of "those" guys! He is gorgeously, handsome, so incredibly intelligent, humorous, and a joy to be around. His whole life he was the type that would make silly jokes to get a giggle out of those around him,and always was good at it. He also wears his emotions like a badge, when he hurts, you know it, when he is angry, you know it. Even in his denial, his heart is obvious, he is a brooder this one...he could give Lucas Scott from "One Tree Hill" a run for his money!
Madison Skye 16- "My Heart Breaker"
Madison has always had a way of breaking hearts. She is strong, dynamic, fun, free spirited, whimsical, funny, GORGEOUS, smart, challenging, and has a heart for those in pain. She will make a wonderful wife and mother some day. As a child she was always at my heels, begging to be the center of attention. She challenges me on a regular basis to strive to get to know her in a deeper way. I love her heart, and how she wears it on her sleeve. She always has a hug for those who need a little extra love. She is an intercessor and seems to sense many peoples emotions at once. I just love her for her matter of fact attitude, and love of those around her! She has had a rough road this year and I pray God guide her heart back to His and to the safety of His arms. She definitely deserves the world and I will see she gets it!
Kylie Danielle 13- "My Beautiful Tomboy"
Kylie was the one who taught me about how hard it is to distance yourself from someone you grew in your womb. Her conception was a very emotionally difficult surprise for me, but she was one of the best and biggest blessings God could have ever gave me. The moment I looked in this kids eyes, I knew she was meant for something special, and I could not have loved her more, than if I had planned for her!!!! She is athletic, and loves music...she is a worshiper, and oh how she worships! It isn't unusual to hear her singing and playing the newest song she has written. She has a love for sports and music and her heart could consume the universe. She will be a force to be reckoned with in a spiritual sense as her physical maturity catches up with her spiritual! This kid is a leader, not a follower, and is hardly moved by peer pressure. But for as tough as her exterior is, her heart is so soft and malleable. Her softness needs to come with a caution sign, tread lightly...she will break. Love this precious girl! She will one day be an outstanding mother, because her compassion is all consuming!
Morgan Alexandra Yvonne-11-"The Baby Magnet"
Morgan has a strong maternal instinct. Babies seem drawn to her, and she will also make an awesome mommy one day. She is the one who is the least crazy about our large family, even though she is the best with the little ones. She has an eye for photography, a hand for art, and the skills for dramas. She loves to worship with flags and excels at the artistic side of the worship arts. She is well liked by her classmates and has a quick sense of humor. She is smart, sweet, and quick tempered at times. I love the fact she wears her heart on her sleeve, and loves everyone around her, she always has a smile to brighten everyone's day!
Even though she claims to want a smaller family, I can almost guarantee this one will have a house full...she is way to good at being a mommy already to not be one of those "Quiver full momma's"!
Camaron Lee 7-"The Drama Mamma"
Camaron is a sweet natured little girl, who loves EVERYONE. She is very dramatic, and has a flare for dance, she has twirled and danced her way into our hearts from the moment she could walk. She is very sweet natured, and wants to please everyone, her heart bruises easily, so future spouse beware; she needs a lot of TLC, and a gentle guiding hand so you don't break her spirit! But she is TONS of fun! Always has a silly joke to tell, a kind word to say, and hugs and kisses to go around. She can be very mischievous and we have to laugh at how easily this side of her sneaks out, you would never know it to look at her...but she is very impish. Bless her heart, she will be a fun one to watch grow!
Micah James 4-"Our comedic relief"
Micah is a riot to have around, he keeps us laughing always! Micah is my second son and Cole's first natural son. Both boys love each other very much and I for see Micah becoming very protective of the girls! He seems to realize already his role as big brother means protector, even though he loves to kick and punch the girls as it stands currently! Micah is smart, clever, handsome, sweet, loving, hysterical , adorable, devoted, unique and amazing! Micah has sensory issues which makes parenting him a challenge at times, but I would not have him any other way! He is a bright light and adds so much depth to us all and to the family unit. He is by far the greatest Micah James ever invented by our Creator! He has a eye for details and a mind that loves to be challenged. He will either be a lawyer or a politician because he loves to argue. But I am hoping he follows in daddy's foot steps and preaches!
This little critter, is a riot! Such a funny sense of humor, and such an awesome addition she made to our family. She keeps us on our toes! She is sweet, loving, precious, & so adorable that her cuteness takes your breath away! She is a bit of a diva, and knows how to get what she wants, she just turns on the charm and we are all victim to that cuteness! She has us all wrapped around her tiny fingers! She really cracks us up with her silliness and crazy things she does. I can't wait to see what wonderful woman she will grow into!
I always knew Sam would make an AMAZING momma and she is showing us all we were right! She is so dedicated to this little guy! How could you not be look at these gorgeous eyes!? This little guy came into our lives at just the right time, our family has had a lot of heart ache this year, and Levi made the hurt so much easier to swallow! He has captured our hearts with his cute little smile and huge blue eyes, little oceans of sweetness! I am excited to watch my daughter and son in law rear him into a Godly man, what a journey this will be!
